Caudalie launches anti-ageing cream for dry skin

French skincare company Caudalie has launched an anti-ageing cream formulated for very dry skin – Premier Cru La Crème Riche.

The new formula contains the same active ingredients as the original Premier Cru La Crème, combined with a 100 per cent botanical complex of three waxes.

The first of these is resveratrol, which has been studied by Harvard University researchers who identified it as an exceptional youth molecule which stimulates the production of collagen fibers and elastin, redensifies the skin by thickening the epidermis to fill in wrinkles from the inside, and extends the life of cells.

The second is viniferine, which Caudalie says is 62 times more effective than vitamin C, is extracted from vine sap, and corrects and prevents the appearance of dark spots and restores radiance to the complexion.

The final wax is grape-seed polyphenols, an antioxidant which acts as an anti-free radical shield and, according to the company, prevents 80 per cent of the causes of premature skin ageing.
